Mauliola Keʻehi

Mauliola Keʻehi is the lead organization that stewards and facilitates visits to Mokauea Island.
Established in 2019 and lead by Executive Director Kēhaulani Kupihea, Mauliola Keʻehi’s mission is “to inspire, educate and transform the public regarding the rich Hawaiian culture and history of our Hawaiian ancestors and all the wahi pana they embraced.”
UHWO is partnering with Mauliola Keʻehi to assist with Mokauea’s restoration, particularly its fishpond.
Volunteer Opportunities
Mauliola Keʻehi is continuously seeking volunteers to help restore Mokauea. Groups, students seeking to complete service hours, and just anyone interested is invited to get involved. For more information, contact the organization’s executive director:
